My Question or Issue

Every time I start the Spotify app, the smartphone reboots.
There are some 300Mo of free storage on the phone. Not to many apps installed. There is a parental control ON, that allows the Spotify app.
How can I normally use Spotify ?

Hi there @pedronac,

Thanks for the post.

This could be happening for a number of reasons:

  • There isn't enough space on the device. The Spotify app requires at least 1 GB of free storage space on the device memory for function properly.
  • There is some permission forcing the app to close and possibly the phone to restart. Go to your phone's settings > Apps > Spotify and make sure that all permissions are granted to the app.

It's also a good idea to run a clean reinstall of the app, to clear any possibly corrupted app files. Follow this guide.

Hope this helps.
