My Question or Issue

The ai playlist option is not showing up when I click to create a playlist. Its still showing the old Playlist and Blend options. I have a family premium account. I see that this feature is made available to users in the US. I am in the US. Why am I not seeing it?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

First, we'd recommend logging out from your account and logging back in twice to try to force any pending update not yet applied. If the issue persists, we'd also suggest trying on a different device (with your own account) to see if it makes any difference. 

However, taking into account that the AI playlist feature is still in Beta, it's possible that it could be not rolled out yet for all users on the selected markets. So in this case, if the previous troubleshooting didn't do the trick, we'd recommend keeping your Spotify app updated as this may become fully available for everyone on future versions of the app.

Thank you for the response。 I tried the troubleshooting method recommended(cleared cache, storage, uninstalled, restarted the phone, reinstalled) 。 Logged out twice and log back in etc. etc. I would like to add more background to my issue。 I'm located in the US, and my child, who is part of my family premium plan, is able to see the AI playlist。 However I'm unable to see it, even though I'm the account manager of the family premium plan。 This situation is somewhat confusing to me。 I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide me with some clarification on why there is a discrepancy between my child's and my access to the AI playlist feature。

I am very disappointed to learn that the AI playlist feature, which is advertised as available to premium users on the Google Play store (screenshots attached in this post), is not actually available to all premium users。 This is false advertising, and I feel that I have been misled into paying for a service that does not offer all of the features that were promised。I hope they solve this issue for me. I saw a few other users posting similar issues.
