blue tooth pause and skip not working

Why won't the pause and skip controls on my bluetooth work with spotify. I try to pause or skip and Tunewiki starts up.

Have you set up tunewiki as the default app for those actions? Try accessing the app through the android system settings and use 'clear defaults'. Might help, unlikely but maybe

No defaults set . i even unchecked the "use headset buttons" in Tunewiki settings. No difference

Found a post on line about Tunewiki update. Uninstalled the update and now my blue tooth works fine.
