how to use "Offline" on an airplane?

Hi,

You must have a premium account to use the offline feature, if so then select the music you'd like to listen to when you dont have internet. Turn your phone into airplane mode and youre good to go!

Went to airplane mode and switched to available offline. Music played for about 15 minutes then stopped.  So confused with this and getting frustrated. I have a premium account. I noticed my device is not listed on my account. Is this a problem? Also unable to see my playlist download (arrows not green). I have more than enough space available. I have the Samsung Edge. Do I go to airplane mode and Offline? Please help!
