local songs in playlist cant be deleted

i have put 2 local song files in my playlist but decided to delete them a while ago. When i'm looking at the playlist on my phone the local songs are still there, but greyed out. how do i delete these from my phone (galaxy s7)?

Following a recent "improvement" to spotify on mobile, greyed-out tracks can only be removed in the desktop client I'm afraid. I did raise this as a bug here but never got a straight answer as to whether this was a bug or a new "feature". They locked the thread so you can't comment there. From the response they want us to post this as a new idea "please let us remove songs from playlists on mobile devices".

Sorry to go on but I feel their response was pretty shoddy 🙂
