music download quality always low

hi i just signed up as premium and got spotify on my android nexus 5.

the music quality of offline playlist is constantly low even when i set the download AND stream quality to HIGH.

i verified this by looking at the storage taken up by spotify (460mb for 150 songs)

That doesn't sound too far out to me, without knowing how long the tracks are etc but high quality is only 160kbps. Extreme quality at 320kbps should use twice that space. Mind you, maths was never my strong point 🙂

I second This i notice a drop in offline music when losing wifi, as odd as that sounds i'm not joking
