music starts to play again after I hit pause

Hi, when I am done with the app, I pause whatever song it's currently on. I leave the app (but I don't log out) and I clear all notifications for it, on my cellphone (I have an Android). It happens a lot where, when I check my phone later, I see that songs have still been playing. How do I STOP that form happening? Do I need to log in and out of the app every time (how)?

If you haven't already, you can try performing a clean reinstall of the app to see if it makes any difference. 

If that doesn't do the trick, you might want to try securing your account and logging out from all devices by following the steps here, as there's a chance someone else might be using your account.
