no sound on truck stereo

Ok. My cell and the truck stereos are connecting via blue tooth alright and spotify is showing up, I can stop, start, advance music but have no sound in either truck. I've uninstalled spotify from my phone and reinstalled the app; I've removed the bluetooth connection in both vehicles and reconnected on both. Still the same... no sound. Spotify worked fine in both vehicles 3 days ago. Very puzzled. I do most of my music listening while I am driving. Don't know what else to do. I am considering cancelling the service. No sense paying for something I can't really enjoy anymore.
