some tracks sound utterly terrible on spotify

Got a paid spotify account. Running the app on a samsung a52 which is as up to date as samsung wants to make it (Android 14 with the latest patches)

This afternoon listening to some roxette tracks and I notice one in 4 or 5 sounds really terrible. Thought it was a bluetooth issue so I get out the decent headphones but the issue persisted. Ran a speedtest and got 140mb full duplex.

Any thoughts? It sounded like a casette recording off FM radio. Almost like the backend contains some badly ripped albums.

Since this could be caused by different factors, would you mind confirming if playing the tracks directly from your phone and not connected to any bluetooth device makes any difference? 

If the issue persists, we'd recommend changing the audio streaming quality settings to High or Very high directly from your app. To do so, just open the Spotify app, tap your Profile picture at the top of your Home screen and select Settings and privacy > Media quality > Wi-Fi/Cellular streaming quality. Keep in mind that streaming at a higher audio quality uses more data. 

Lastly, to continue investigating this issue, would you mind confirming if all of the songs you've tried are playing in low quality or if it's specific ones? If it's specific, could you include the link/URI of the song to take a better look?
