spotify isnt detecting songs that are saved locally(mp3 files) on my sdcard

my spotify is not detecting songs that are saved locally(mp3 files) on my micro sd card. am i missing something?

note:

1. my sd card is not corrupt(other music players are able to detect and play songs on sd card)
2. i have turned on all required setting in and out of the app
3. i have tried reinstalling/rebooting/reinserting microsd card

Hello @aaadii_here!

Could you try moving your local files to a different folder in the SD card to see if that makes the difference? Also, can you let me know if moving them to the internal storage makes the app recognise them?

just saw your reply.

issue was somehow fixed on its own after a couple of days ig. i dont know what caused the issue to happen in the first place and dont exactly know what helped fixing it.
