Superuser Contribution Spotify starts playing on its own

Spotify starts playing music on my phone on its own whenever I open certain apps, such as setting the alarm, opening Samsung notes etc. I cant seem to turn this very strange and annoying "feature" off. What do I do to fix this?

Superuser Contribution [Android][Developer] Fix Spotify being Interrupted by Notifications while playing over Bluetooth

While driving in my car, I play Spotify on the radio through Bluetooth. The songs/podcast skip and pause everytime I get a notification. Even if they are on silent. Please fix this. It is very very annoying.
