spotify not syncing to my car for bluetooth

I've been trying to use spotify in my car via Bluetooth nd everytime I try it never syncs or finds my car even tho my phone nd car already paired nd I can use it for calling nd picking up calls fine but music won't come out my car speakers is there anything I can do I have a s3 nd a 09 Jetta plZ help

Do other media apps work? I suspect your cars Bluetooth dosn't support A2DP.. it may be worth checking with Volkswagen as I don't think it's a Spotify fault.
