I have an htc desire 500 cellphone and I am unable to move the spotify app to the SD card. Who's to blame, spotify or htc? I have had both an htc desire HD and an htc rhyme before, and no issues with spotify. Now I am reconsidering my spotify premium and quite angry, because I am unable to get my music on my phone. I have read a billion forum posts on several issues, but can't quite see one that fits my issue.
Anyone else?

Spotify Premium has an issue that it won't fix of losing the library installed on external card every tome you re-log in, or just randomly. The issue is the app (on internal storage) won't find the external card library and forces you to redownload everything.
I believe the issue would be solved by INSTALLING THE APP DIRECTLY ONTO THE EXTERNAL CARD.!!!!! (Please don't address anything but how to do this. Repeat. This is NOT about moving the library to the sd card, but the app itself)
How do I move the app itself to an external sd card? Can I uninstall the app and reinstall directly to the external card?
Please answer this question
We're asking about the spotify application itself----not the music. Please answer this.

You never answered the actual question
Why can't Spotify app be installed directly to sd card. The Premium service does not work with library on the external card. Any authentication issues, login timining issues cause the app to fail to find the downloaded cache, forcing you to reload your entire library again and again. Makes Premium too annoying to use. It takes HOURS to download 10 gigs of music (at least in Asia). Without a bug proof offline operation Spotify is simply another good streaming service. There has been the same issue and complaints for years and the Spotify group ignores it. Their customer service sucks. It's worse than trying to get a politician to fix a pothole.
The full alottment of songs sucks up too much internal memory, and NEEDS to be placed on external card if possible. It seems after huge trial and error, the app needs to be on the card also for everything to find each other. And yet.......
I am having trouble moving my spotify app to my SD card and it my cellphone is a samsung galaxy core prime J3
