Did you also try:

  1. Stop Spotify (Settings -> Apps -> Spotify)
  2. Manually create /storage/sdcard1/Android/data
  3. Copy 'com.spotify.music' and all subdirectories from internal storage to '/storage/sdcard1/Android/data'
  4. Open Settings -> Apps -> Spotify then tap 'Clear Data'
  5. Restart Spotify and log back in again
  6. Set Download quality to 'Extreme'
  7. Try downloading a large playlist

Hi. What device and android version are you using? Does the storage option not appear in spotify's settings (at the bottom)?

It's Acer liquid z320 very 5.1.1... And no no option for storage! Thx for
assistance

Could you follow the advice in this post under the heading "Using an external SD card to store your cache" and let me know how you get on.

Wow..still no...it's still downloading to the internal. Still after all those steps.
