Ads read out by hosts on Spotify Premium with 'no ads!!111'

Ive heard Spotify employees trot out this room-temperature IQ level explaination that they have no control over the Podcasters intention to advertise during their own podcasts.

But that's not true is it? You can cut out sections, force them to make retractions, slap blue propaganda labels on their episode listings, and so on. 

So why do you throw unholy amounts of our money at them and then permit them to read out even more ads? At this stage we're just listening to ads. 

I appreciate you're laughing at us while your vaults overflow, and if we want to listen to certain exclusive podcasts we have no choice because podcasters do not exist on other platforms... so we're held to ransom. But JFC, just have some common courtesty towards your customers, perhaps?

It is annoying but understandable. If the content, pod or a song contains ads or messages is totally outside Spotify control

Just do not use Spotify for Podcasts. There are other good podcasting apps out there.
