All playlist songs not accessible on all devices?

All playlist songs not accessible on all devices?

On my Amazon Fire Sticks, my sons favourite 500 or so songs are not all accessible. Only the first 100 or so are. He can still listen to them all on shuffle but he can’t pick specific songs. On my phone, they are all available and none appear to be deleted. I’ve tried logging out of the app on the devices and logging back in. I’ve also tried to “recover playlists” but no luck. Thoughts so my four year old will be happy again?!

A howlin' hello to you darcywarrington!

There are some limitations to Spotify on Amazon Fire Stick when it comes to playlists. One of the limitations is that playlists are limited to 100 tracks. This means that if a playlist has more than 100 tracks, only the first 100 tracks will be available on the Fire Stick.

Another limitation is that you can't create playlists directly on the Fire Stick. You can only access and play the playlists that have been created on other devices like a computer or a phone.

Additionally, the Fire Stick app may have limited functionality compared to the full Spotify app on other devices, which can affect the user experience.

If your son's favorite songs are not accessible on the Fire Stick, it could be because they are beyond the 100-track limit. One solution could be to create multiple playlists with less than 100 tracks each, and then access them on the Fire Stick.

If the issue persists, you can try contacting Spotify customer support for further assistance.

I'll be doggone if I don't hear from you,
