Apple Watch - iPhone ... "Download to Apple Watch" doesn't exist

I have a brand new Apple Watch Series 6, Premium Spotify, iPhoneSE ... 

Phone, watch and app are all updated to the latest versions

Removed app from phone and watch multiple times and re-added

Downloaded Spotify app directly on watch (vs shared through iphone) 

Turned off devices and brought up phone, then watch ... multiple times

Unpaired and re-paired 

There is no "Download to Apple Watch" option in my Spotify, even after all of this. Please, can someone tell me what to do? Or what I'm doing wrong?

Update - for what it's worth, I also don't have the option to download to Apple Watch with Audible (which was put through the same paces)

Having the same issue here. And attempted to reach out to Spotify Cares on twitter and it was a disaster (clearly the account is fully ran by an AI). Not sure what else to try, my phone and watch are both fully up to date (and I'm a Premium subscriber, as well).

I also don't have it. it seems that they are rolling out, I guess it will take a few days until everyone gets it...

Same here. The customer service told me that the update is rolling out and only 0.01% globally has had this update. This was 2 weeks ago though

Same here. I saw the news articles and I’ve been eagerly waiting for this feature to be rolled out ever since.  Why bother doing press releases if the majority of users don’t have access?

like others I looked and looked for this feature as a new iPhone user. Eventually I contacted support and they said the functionality is still not rolled out to everyone. Disappointing as others have said that the press releases do not match reality.

I contacted Apple customer service in Norway today (11th of June), where i brought up this particular news as a topic, when I was going to buy the «Apple watch SE». There, i was referred to someone else twice, because they had not heard of this news, and mentioned that they would be updated on such information. It all ended where i was referred a third time before i was left on hold until the dial tone ended - annoying..

IT IS MAY 2022 and the same problem still exists. No "Download on Apple Watch" option though my app and IOS have been updated to the latest version. What' wrong man Spotify??
