Can't expand album art with new UI on desktop.

The UI where I could expand the album art in the lower left was so much better than the new one that opens a whole new sidebar. It squishes my screen now (I have spotify opened on a vertical monitor). This is a major step back for the UI.

I agree. This change is a major step back. It's frustrating because I enjoy being able to see the album art behind my other browser windows while I work. This is no longer possible without losing visual access to another part of my workspace.

Spotify is on a streak of making the UIUX worse and they're absolutely killing it, the UI was great, simple and easy to navigate but they turned it into such an ugly, frustrating program to use.

I get how you can try a new UI choice but I'm so disappointed how they seem to be able to make something worse every week

I agree, even on a not vertical monitor it really makes the middle content squished and I don't need all the other info anyway, I just want the album art big!

This change is awful, I don't care about monthly listeners or a partial description of the band. Just give me a clean and usable album art size next to my playlist.

I'll echo the sentiment here and say that I'm also extremely disappointed by this change. Using Spotify is becoming an increasingly frustrating experience. The constant UI experiments are getting fatiguing.

I'm just trying to listen to music and look at some album art. I don't need to see the band bio, their tour dates, band image, etc. What's worse is how the UI, with the album art "expanded", constantly flashes and flickers as it loads in all this info -- Very distracting!
