Clicking on a cover when listening to Recommendations doesn't take us to the record

I played an EP on repeat for a while and at some point Spotify starts playing similar music from, I believe, Recommendations. This is great in itself but when I click in the record cover of the song being played, it only takes me back to the record I played initially. 

I have to click on the title to do that. Considering the cover is much bigger target, I tend to click on that rather than the title, which sometimes makes me click on the artist (two links too close together).
