Desktop app album art preview is broken now

A new update to the Spotify UI broke the "expanded" album art preview, and it no longer scales with the left panel size. [YouTube]

I am not the only person with this bug as reported by someone else.

This bug occurs on my Windows 10 device

Yep can confirm, same bug over here. Don't like the new design anyways, why can you suddenly only browse your library (albums, artists, playlists) within the sidebar? Doesn't make any sense to me.
