How does Spotify choose what playlists to display on my profile page?

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

By default, playlists you create will show on your profile. However, if you have the desktop app, you can change this setting so that new playlists you create won’t automatically show on your profile. Note that you need the desktop app to change this setting, but this change will apply to all of your devices.

You can prevent Spotify from automatically adding new playlists you create to your profile by going to Settings on the desktop app, then scrolling down to Social, and toggling Publish my new playlists on my profile to “off” (grey instead of green).

For any playlists that you’d like to add or remove from your profile, you can click the three-dots menu next to the playlist’s title (or right-click the playlist on the desktop app or web player); and then select Add to profile or Remove from profile.

Bear in mind that a playlist can’t be added to your profile if it’s set to private.
