Its my first attempt at both Angular and using Spotify's APIs. So its probably buggy. It also desperately needs UI / UX work. A link is provided to my public GitHub repo if you'd like to contribute, or even log bugs 🙂
I've tested the tool with 250+ songs and its able to import them in roughly 30 seconds. I suspect it will work with larger playlists. However, I'm not entirely sure what will happen since most processing is done in memory (in the browser). Also, I've only used Chrome, so please let me know how it runs on other browsers.
Last but not least, the tool requires that you grant it the ability to modify / create public playlists for your account ("playlist-modify-public" scope, for the techie folk).
Enjoy and ride those electro waves!
This works incredibly with GPT-4! If you ask it to curate a playlist in .csv format with the two headers TITLE and ARTIST and give it some criteria to follow (what types of songs, the mood, the artists you like) it will output a curated, .csv formatted playlist for you to save into a .csv file! Thanks nick_wanders!
I finally pushed 1.4.0 to Production:

Those of you running into authorization issues try this new version.
For more details about this release see the original (staging) post.
Hey Nick,
Just tried v1.4.0 and used the Cleanup Unknown Songs function. It did a pretty good job and found a few more songs, but now the Import Playlist button is greyed out and I can't click it. Any ideas on what I should do to import the playlist to Spotify? Thanks!
Edit: Tried running it again and it worked fine this time. Might have just been a transient bug.

@nick_wanders Many thanks to you and all the contributors for this excellent work.
I found this looking for the same way to get songs from chat GPT to Spotify!
I came here for the same reason!
Thanks so much... this worked perfectly uploading a friend's wedding playlist from a spreasheet. Nicely done!
I just discovered this tool - thank you very much!! This is amazing and saved me a lot of headaches. I generated a song list via ChatGPT and wanted to actually listen to some of the obscure songs it suggested. Glad this is available so I wasn't manually searching for everything
A new version is available, v1.4.2!
I forgot to post about v1.4.1 but it was mostly an internal release (updated some dependencies).
This new version includes a bug fix which seems to improve song matching.

Thanks for this! I found it very surprising the lack of native support for this. Many of the similar migration tools mentioned in this forum are offline, you cannot sign up or want crazy subscription costs for what should be a simple one time transfer. It terms of migration from Deezer I found someone had written a good chunk of Javascript that created the csv file list this program liked out of the box. I used it with Firefox YMMV. See https://github.com/Zeex/deezer-export
Has anyone found something similar to get playlists out of Youtube Music or whatever it is called now?
Nice Nick! Thank you!
@nick_wanders
great tool mate, is it possible to make the unknown tracks downloadable in a file format?
Hi. I am trying to use your tools. I get an error message. se below. any ideas? I got the file from Shazam. I can't add the file here.
So for us, not so tech savvy can you give a 123etc step guide for adding a CSV file process or a little YT vid to help out the lesser mortals among us, or have I missed it in the thread?
