That’s all. The feature is nice but I just want to shuffle through some of my songs from time to time.

You can use normal shuffle.

Double tab shuffle button and here u go.

That shouldn't be necessary, also it creates more network activity loading songs you don't want, and sometimes this will cause an extended delay if your connection is poor or intermittent, for example if you are travelling.
