Podcast Playback Glitching

Hello all,

I have been having this annoying behavior on the app. I've noticed that the time stamp in the podcasts I listen are not syncing across devices, nor are the played episodes. But more annoyingly, it seems like video podcasts are behaving weirdly to being played in the background. When I start listening to one with app closed, it plays normally but when I get back into the app or when I unlock my phone and it unlocks to the app the episode restarts.

I was not seeing this before the most recent update on IOS.
