Repeat keeps turning on - won't autoplay

Hey everyone,

The last few months have been really frustrating because if I click a song to play, it keeps looping as if I have repeat turned on. If I turn repeat off then my app just gets stuck on the song and won't play anything. I have my playback settings set to autoplay similar songs when music ends, but it isn't working. 

I'll even queue up several songs, but once the queue is up, spotify starts playing the first song I clicked on. 

Example 1: 

1) I click on "Song A", and the song plays.

2) "Song A" ends and starts play again. If I hit skip, it keeps starting "Song A" over even with repeat/loop turned off.

Example 2:

1) I click on "Song A", and the song plays. I then queue up "Album B". 

2) After "Song A" ends, "Album B" plays as queued.

3) My queue ends because I've listened to all songs queued from "Album B". "Song A" starts playing again and then keeps looping. 

I just want autoplay to start working and I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. It seems to have started when I got a new car and started using CarPlay if that helps.

dang. so i just logged out of the app on my phone and website browser but my alexa still played the song lol so i had to tell her to stop playing! when i logged back in, it was still there but i just kept furiously clicking the play next button until it reset and jumped back into the playlist i wanted. so far so good. hope it gets better on your end!
