Smart devices keep disconnecting when playing music

I have several smart devices but when I Spotify cast on them they will play for one second and immediately disconnect. It used to be a seamless process but now it just won't work. I thought it was the maybe the brand or them being old but I bought new ones but it still happens, both Google and Amazon.
