Spotify shuffling is compulsory until you switch over to premium??

It's been really irritating now, and perhaps it might be the reason why me and many others might be bidding away from Spotify. The Spotify team has added this feature, and i have to play the next song from my playlist everytime. Besides, the premium plan is quite expensive too. I have been really annoyed by this, therefore i request you to fix this or many of us will be leaving.
