Stop start play

Can anybody help. 

I'm trying to play my usual wind down podcast for sleep but it keeps stopping and starting the play function.

Then it all of a sudden played a random song thats not even in my likes or anything. I kept pressing pause and it would keep pressing play.

Kind of like somebody else is controlling it. I've closed it down and reopened but still happening. Is somebody able to mess around somehow?

Any advice to fix this please.
