Waze keeps launching whenever I launch Spotify

Hi,

I have Waze and Spotify, and Spotify is integrated in Waze. When I use Waze, I also use Spotify from the Waze interface: so far so good.

The problem is, whenever I launch Spotify in my home, it is actually Waze that launches. I have to force kill the Waze app to access Spotify and even then, there is the Waze banner on top that is inviting me to return to Waze.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps. Both apps are updated. I have even changed phones from a Google Pixel 6 to a Google Pixel 7 and the same exact issue reappears on my new phone.

How can I solve this?
