Why I think the spotify interface could be way better.

I often think to myself "I can't be the only one who is seriously annoyed by this" when selecting music.

What I think could be better and/or should be possible:

- Why can't I exclude music? I remember in the dim past that there was a button for excluding songs from being auto selected for you. Anyway if an artist can't handle the fact that not all their stuff is gold or that some people just are not into their music, the are in the wrong business.

- In my Library I follow a ton of artists, but when I switch to albums there is nothing unless I select an album to add to my lib. Why? I want all available releases of every artist I foll there! I can't be the only one.

- When I play an artist radio, the diversity of the songs sucks. I here every live, studio, unplugged, cover and whatnot version of their three to five top songs. I annoys me and bores me fast. I really don't want to manually select something every hour.

- Related to the points above: Shuffel over my library. Why can't I hit play on my whole library and, since we are on it, why can't I say "Select an album and play it whole and in order and when it is done select another one and do the same"? Also give me a button or a shortcut to skip an entire album if I am not in the mood for it. 

- Why can I not dismiss auto generated playlists? In general I like them and there are assembled good enough, but sometimes there is stuff i Just don't like and it is cluttering my dashboard and I don't like it.

- Why can't I rate songs and album? And why can I not create smart, dynamic playlists based on my ratings?

Recently I started more and more often to listen to my private music collection, at least when I'm at home. I just listen to the stuff I don't have (yet) in my private collection on spotify.

So, rant is over for now. Can anyone relate or am I just spoiled?

Hey @lucrito!

I understand and agree that parts of Spotify's UI/UX are not the greatest. However, I would like to suggest that many of the topics you bring up are common complaints, and there are some requests to change these topics in the Idea Exchange. If you want some of these changes, be sure to add your vote or create a thread on these issues!
