Why do songs continue to play from the point where I left off?

I don't remember all the cases where this happens, but if you listened to a song halfway through but then switched to something else, it will continue playing from the same point again when you get back to it.

I find this so odd, and can't imagine why anyone would want this. It's not like I'm listening to an audiobook or podcast, if I queue a song again it's because I want to listen to that song, the whole song form the beginning, not for it to jump straight into the chorus. Is this a bug!? 😂 Because it's certainly not a feature in my opinion.

*Bump* What are the use-cases and rationals for this "feature"?!
It breaks the experience of your service with jerky transitions between songs! Utterly *ing strange design choice.

i'm pretty sure this is a temporary feature. i had this issue the other day and it went away. maybe it's just a glitch?
