Shuffle issues

How can I disable your randomly inserted recommendations in my play lists, they are so inappropriate and annoying. If I press the shuffle icon to remove then it just plays the order I added them which is also rubbish as I did it by artist so end up with lots of mini albums joined together rather than a mixed genre as I wanted. Help

This is why smart shuffle should be reverted back to enhance. It’s intrusive and gets in the way of our own playlists.

unfortunately there's no way to get rid of smart shuffle right now. however i'm pretty sure it only works on playlists you make that are your own. if you listen to other people's playlists, the shuffle feature works normally
