Windows desktop app has been unusable for months

When left in the background for an extended period of time without music playing, the app will lock up and become unresponsive. The only way to fix it is to end task with task manager and reopen it. 
Along with this, in app customization (Like size of side bars) seems to be temporary and resets upon full relaunch of the app. The UI is also just disgusting and slow ever since the redesign
