downloaded liked songs won't play when not connected to internet (4/2023)

The last few day to a week, my downloaded "liked" songs will not play when I'm not connected to internet. They show as download and are not grayed out, I cannot even interact with the Playlist. I have tried just about everything possible from:

Rootbooting phone (android)

Clearing cache (from app and phone settings)

Going "offline mode" back to online

Deleting all other Playlist

Uninstalled and reinstalled app

Looked at app permissions (nothing unusual)

Checked for app updates (up to date)

Checked phone updates (up to date)

Checked phone storage (plenty left)

This is also not specific to just my phone, my tablet is also doing this same thing, and a shared family plan member is having same issues as well! This issue is happening currently April 2023. Community thread had this as an known issue back in 2021 as well. Please, any help is appreciated as I pay for this listening to downloaded songs without internet feature specifically, and if I cannot listen to music with this feature I'll be canceling my subscription as it's pointless to keep, if the sole purpose doesn't work!!!

Same here! I did the suggestions they provided and I'm still having the same issue as well 😞

What phone are you on? Mine is a Galaxy S20+
