Log in- error 408

I have problems to log in on my app- and I do not want to use my facebook account.. I got error 408? What should I do? I can log in on my computer.

With Spotify free, you can only use your account abroad for 14 days before you loose access. 

If you log into your online account can you upgrade from there?

Hi I am having trouble loging onto Spotify from my ipad. It works fine on my laptop but I am getting error 408 when I try on my ipad. I have tried to change the country to Spain but it doesn't seem to be fixing the problem. Any ideas of what I can do? Thanks!

If your account overview is showing the country you are currently in, then is it possible you are behind a proxy registered in another country?

Hi, I'm in Canada and I made this profile when I moved here a couple of weeks ago from the same apartment I'm accessing Spotify from now. But all of a sudden I'm getting Error 408. I had to make this profile because I could no longer access my French account without a new credit card but I checked and this account was registered to the US with no option to change it to Canada. Now however I'm getting error: 408 despite nothing having changed.

@nuttydr3ad - Spotify is not yet available in Canada which is why a US registered free account will only work there for 14 days (abroad time). If you wish to continue using the service, you will need a payment method from a country where Spotify is available (such as the US) and subscribe to Spotify Unlimited or Premium as a US customer to give you unlimited abroad time.

Thanks for letting me know. That's disappointing but I guess I'll have to try to use another streaming service until that changes.

Hello. I have an issue with login error 408. My country is set to be UK where I actually am but I subscribed in Italy and used my account also whilst in France and never reached these famous 14 days. I always had to listen to advertisements instead. I find unfair the fact that I cannot use my profile anymore. What can I do now??

It's still me. I left a comment previously. Now Spotify works on my iPad and my mobile phone but not on my laptop. Strange. Anyone with a solution?
