Please have an option during setup for Facebook integration.
I would like to remove all Facebook screens from my Spotify application.
I have no interest in Facebook, do not have a Facebook account and the current level of integration (login to Facebook) on just account every part of Spotify is a negative for me and effects my desire to keep the service.
I signed up for Spotify for music, not Facebook and its App store.
Thanks

Hi liam_w,
I can't remove it on my iPad though, I think Spotify should just focus on providing music.
Forced Facebook on many screens would be a negative for many users who do not have any interest in Facebook.
That's good to hear,
Spotify should be building its image as a "premium streaming music provider" not as some addon to Facebook which many people do not want to use.
It also needs to heavily work on improving the ability for users to have their own "streaming music library". Sorting by playlists in the interface is just absolutely terrible.
I have never seen such a poor user interface for a music application.
Even the free open source streaming music players are FAR suprior to Spotify for music management.
If Spotify would just make these simple changes, I think it could become quite popular.
Right now though its just waiting for someone to come along and provide a better service, I don't think management is being pro-active enough. I would like to see the numbers for how many people keep their Spotify premium subscriptions.
Such a great idea but currently implemented very poorly in my opinion.
I think the CEO needs to read some of the chat posts on this forum and start responding to some of them.
Here we have a 5 month old post for better music sorting on mobile devices with 76 people requesting it and Spotify still haven't implemented the feature.
Below is an example of how I would like to be able to manage my music (add the albums that I want and view them like this instead of playlists).
You don't need to integrate with Facebook anymore. Head to the sign up page and click "Create an account with email address" hidden at the bottom. Do not click on the Facebook "create an account" button if one appears for you, the Spotify account creation link says "with email address" on it!
I also agree with your music library comment. Sadly, it's unlikely that such a feature will be implemented, because Spotify is constantly focusing on social and sharing instead of music playback itself. A playlist is an entity that you can easily share with your friends. You don't share a music library, you share a playlist.
The reason I'm still staying with them is because their desktop player is nicely implemented. On Grooveshark, I had to wait for about three seconds for a song to buffer before it began playing, but on Spotify a song plays as soon as it's double clicked. It's blurring the line between local files and music streamed from the net.
I'm sad Spotify sold out to Facebook, because they had a great product and then proceeded to poop all over it with Facebook crap.
I already did that, Facebook is still integrated into the core of the applications though.
I don't want to see "inbox, people, or App Finder" in my music player.
I just want to have a great music listening experience with a great user interface.
Spotify user interface and music management features are in my opinion absolutely terrible.
There are similar posts all over these forums about the user interface, and Spotify don't seem to be doing anything about it.
They're there because it's still possible to add other users as your Spotify friends and send songs to them without going through Facebook.
App Finder has some non-social stuff on it. I like having Tunewiki on my left sidebar, the only thing it does is show lyrics to you.
