Adding songs within a playlist should be much easier!

In your efforts to make playlist creation easier, we've lost the ability to add ANY song we'd like within a playlist. Now we have to leave a playlist and tap search, tap the ellipsis, tap add to playlist, select a playlist, then tap done. Rinse and repeat until your playlist is complete. This is way too many steps (5 vs. 2).

With all this said, for a few weeks I assumed this was a bug because typing anything in the search bar of "add to this playlist" results in "Couldn't Find" and it's very frustrating. Please address this!

Thanks for posting your feedback to the Idea Exchange!

We’ll be closing this idea as what you've suggested is still a feature within Spotify.

On mobile you can go to any playlist of your own making and select the three dots -> Add to this playlist.
On desktop you can go to the end of your playlist and select "Find more":

 

In  case any of these features are missing for you, don't hesitate to tell us in the Help boards!

As for ideas, feel free to post any new ones, just make sure they adhere to the abovementioned guidelines 🙂
