I have an idea that you might consider adding to the app. It is a feature I would really love, because on some days I just want to listen to specific artists without having to manually create a whole playlist for it.
Feature Proposal: Dynamic Daily Playlist Generator (Artist Based)
Summary:
I am proposing a new Spotify feature that allows users to instantly generate a personalized daily playlist based on selected artists or songs. The playlist updates dynamically according to the user choices and can be saved if desired.
How it should work:
Start the generator
The user taps on a dedicated button, for example: Create Todays Playlist.
Spotify then asks: Which artists or songs do you want in your playlist today
The user can enter any mix of artists, for example MGK, NF, The Weeknd, or optionally single tracks.
Automatic playlist creation
After selecting the artists or songs, Spotify generates a playlist that includes:
The users most played songs from the chosen artists
Popular tracks from those artists
Optional: closely related or stylistically similar songs
The result is a curated and personalized playlist aligned with the user taste for that specific day or mood.
Dynamic customization
The generator should include easy refinement options:
Add more songs
Add another artist
Ability to remove unwanted songs
Ability to reshuffle or regenerate parts of the playlist
The playlist remains active and editable until the user changes their selections.
Save the playlist
If the user likes the final version, they can press Save as Playlist, which saves it as a normal Spotify playlist in their library.
Optional enhancement:
Add similar songs:
Users can insert a few songs, and Spotify fills the playlist with similar tracks, with emphasis on artists rather than only song based similarity.

More flexible than Daily Mixes
Encourages deeper engagement with artists and discovery of related music
