Toggleable UI pane sides left/right in ipadOS etc.

The new random update puts the "Now Playing" on the right, instead of the left, leaving right handed users to have to use their left to select a song/playlist from the library. 

Having the righthanded/lefthanded option in the settings to switch this, instead of being baked in to the new update would make for a better user experience, more streamlined and more in keeping with previous versions usability.  

(Idea suggested by my 16 year old autistic son who has had a number of meltdowns over the UI update on his iPad, and I totally agree with his take on having the side  toggleable)

The one on the left is annoying to use and covers the screen. A way to revert it back to the other one would be good.

The current Spotify iPad layout keeps the “Now Playing” section fixed on the left side in landscape mode, which looks unbalanced and awkward especially for right-handed users or when using Split View.
Please add an option to move or mirror the Now Playing panel to the right side, or let it adjust automatically like the web player.
It would make the interface much more comfortable and visually pleasing.

We’re closing this idea since it doesn’t meet one of our Idea Exchange guidelines, namely “No requests for complete roll-backs”.

At this point, we don’t have enough information regarding what you'd like to see implemented. If you don’t like a certain update you’re welcome to let us know, constructively, how you feel about it.

You could start a new topic in the relevant Help section and outline the things you agree or disagree with. This will likely also invite others to come and give their thoughts and now we’ll have a dialogue going.

If you want to suggest specific feature changes, do feel free to submit one or even several ideas in the Exchange, just make sure you do it according to point 3.

Feel free to submit a new idea - just make sure to familiarize yourself with the above guidelines.

My Question or Issue 

Are we really pretending this new UI change is an improvement over the previous one??  The Design Team has clearly lost the plot at this point. Look at this trash and compare it to what the Design Team thought was great design in 2020. Since it’s clear you won’t improve your team and seek to cause grievance regularly among your customers with poorly thought out changes, I’m giving my business to Apple. I’ll take actual spatial and Dolby Atmos audio and leave this company behind. Enjoy your losses in revenue.✌️ By the way, I have automatic updates turned off to avoid this experience, but these horrible rollouts STILL keep getting pushed out to us regardless of  what we do.

I'm not a fan of the current iPad interface change where the screen is now split with no option to change. I want to be able to view my full home screen and the play screen minimised as a ribbon below as it was previously. Thanks 🙏

YES, this new ui is so bad I simply can not even look at it. I have not used Spotify on my Ipad since this garbage was installed. It is infuriating. 

I made a support/chat with a Spotify support (not AI), and the person there could not understand what I could possibly dislike with the new look.

I will probably go to Youtube music if this UI is not backrolled within a month.
