My Question or Issue

Recently, Spotify appeared with a "pop-up" that i can get Premium Plan for free for 2 months, and I wanted it of course, so I clicked and then I followed the instructions and then appeared something to i put my PayPal, etc. Why do i need to pay on the end since its a "free-trial". Please, just put a button, don't put the PayPal, etc. thing. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out. Such offers are typically only for new users who have never used Premium before, or sometimes also for users who have used it prior but haven't been on Premium for a good while. The payment method is necessary to check eligibility and prevent abuse of the offers. If it is a trial, then you won't be charged right away.
