I listen primarily to indie rock/folk artists like Bon Iver, Novo Amor, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Howard, Axel Flovent, etc. My wife and I began listening to a band called a few months ago, and have become enamored with them. Ali Lacey of Novo Amor is a creative consultant for Hailaker, which is comprised of Novo collaborator Ed Tullett and **bleep** Coulter (update: no idea why Spotify is bleeping Ms. Coulter's first name J e m i m a. Here's the problem...when I'm searching for new music through Spotify's suggested playlists (e.g. when my Novo playlist ends and Spotify begins playing new suggested tracks that it thinks I may like), Hailaker NEVER appears. I'm telling you, this is a crime. Spotify: please boost Hailaker through these suggested song lists. They are way way too good to be receiving this little attention. For those of you interested in listening to Hailaker, some of our personal faves are Coma/Smoke, Readout (unbelievably gorgeous), Phonetically, Alumni, Famous, and By the Time.
