Does Spotify Wrapped minutes listened include podcasts played on faster speeds?

My Question or Issue

My minutes listened this year was only in the 26,000 range. My top podcast though was listened to 250 episodes, each about 90min. The total for that was about 15,000 minutes, but that alone is at least 22,000 min of content. I listen to numerous podcasts, so to fit them all in, I typically listen on 2-3x speed. Does Spotify measure it minutes of content or minutes of duration spent listening?

Hi @cherylm12,

the Community Moderation team doesn't have all the details on Wrapped available, but as far as we understand, your stats are based on actual, real-time minutes, rather than content minutes. You can look at it as "Minutes listened". So skipping from 1:30-3:30 will not count 2 minutes of time in a song. Similarly, 3 minutes of a podcast played at 3x speed will just be an actual minute.
