Family Mix & Alexa issue

Hi folks, 

My Dad and I have had spotify for years but only just joined the premium plan. I have somehow managed to get family mix to play on alexa in my profile—dad has joined family mix

However, when trying to play family mix on his profile alexia says it cannot find the playlist—it did the same to me until yesterday.

A button on my ipad asked me if I wanted to join, I said yes but there is no button on dad's and as I said, he already has selected to join. It even gives me the option to remove him from the playlist but alexa is insistant that it does not exist.
