Currently Spotify doesn't allow you to change your avatar image. But you can go here: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/Picture-on-Profile/idi-p/11523 To support the idea and hopefully Spotify will add that feature in the future!

Hi @XCJLOLZ 

This HAS actually changed. Now, you are able to change your profile picture simply by opening the Spotify app on a desktop, clicking on your username in the top right, and then clicking "change" in the circle where your photo would be on your profile. You are then able to choose your photo but it must be a JPEG with a max file size of 4MB.
