How to get NEW music that I might enjoy listening?

According to this web page:

Spotify hosts over 100 million tracks.

My question is:

how come I keep getting always and always almost the same songs as "suggestions"?

It seems to me that if I "like" songs I actually restrict quite drastically what Spotify proposes. Basically, I keep getting suggestions that are the songs I liked and nothing more.

How can I discover music similar to the one I like?

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Did you notice this behavior within the playlists made for you such, as the Daily mixes? If yes, please let us know.

We'd like to add some insights about this behavior. Keep in mind that these playlists (e.g., Daily Mixes, Discover Weekly) and the suggestions you get in general in the app are created by Spotify based on your recent listening activity. We'd suggest you make sure the Private Session is off, so the algorithm can gather enough info about your most recent listening activity. Also, make sure you're listening to music not only from other recommended playlists like Discover Weekly or Daily Mix but from the Search option as well.

Keep in mind that if most of the music you listen to comes from your personalized playlists (like Discover Weekly, Daily Mix) the new suggested content won't update as often. It's worth mentioning that these playlists update regularly, so please give them some breaks, explore some new music, and check in the coming weeks and let us know how it goes.

But that would be the point of Daily mixes and other recommended playlists - at least this is what I thought.

I thought I would be able to explore your catalogue and expand the music I know by listening to recommendations.

The experience is the opposite. It seems to me that if I listen to daily mixes and other recommended music, your system iteratively moves toward a minimum set of songs corresponding, more or less, to the songs I liked.
