Most popular streams for playlist

Let's say I develop a playlist of a certain genre, be it 30 songs or 3,000.  Will Spotify always list those song in my playlist by number of streams in the last week/month/year/whatever?

Spotify bases the popularity of the playlist on the number of times the playlist itself was started, regardless of which song playback was started from.

Thanks for the reply.  Let me rephrase.

I'm not concerned about the popularity of the playlist, but rather the songs within a playlist.  In other words, if I have a playlist of 100 (or any number) songs, will Spotify rank the those songs in order by their number of streams?
