In the Blues Section the caregory „New Releases „ is still missing.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Each genre and category contains different types of playlists, depending on curation. Sometimes you won't always find playlists like "New Releases" or "Top Tracks". 

You can check out the "Got Blues" playlist: here.

It features recent releases of both established names and upcoming artists. 

Nevertheless, I've forwarded your feedback about 'New Releases" on to the content teams at Spotify 🙂
