Please please let me block artists

All I want for the new year is to be able to block artists. Spotify has decided that I like Modern Lovers, so Spotify Radio has become unlistenable because literally every third song is Modern Lovers. Sometimes if I let it run the same Modern Lovers song will come on 2 to 3 times during a single workday.

Please, I never want to hear another Modern Lovers song ever again. Or Pavement. Or Television.

Spotify currently has no plans to introduce a feature which allows the blocking of particular artists. 

If you would like to hear less of the songs you dislike and more of the songs you do like, you can downvote songs that you dislike in the radio, and upvote songs which you like.
