Receive different ads

Is it possible to change what type of ads I receive? Every so often, I get an ad for a horror film while I am working late and I don't want to hear this type of stuff. There are also other ad types that I would like to stop receiving if possible.

Although there is no way for you to customize your ad experience as of now, there is a workaround. Your ads depend mostly on your listening habits. You can log in on spotify.com and then head over to the privacy section here.

Turn the tailored ads and Facebook ads options off. This will not get rid of ads or make them completely random but you will get less relevant ads, starting a few days after doing this.
