Songs skipping through very quickly but not showing up in a search

I've been having this problem where if I'm skipping through songs on mobile, every now and then a song will pop up in between two others and it goes by so fast it becomes hard to see what the song was. I'll skip back and forth trying to figure out which song it is because it never seems to be playable. But yet they'll very briefly show up while I'm skipping. If I'm able to get a quick glimpse of which song it is, I'll go to search it and half the time it doesn't even come up. Sometimes, I'll be able to find the artist and album but somehow that specific song is no longer on the album. Does Spotify just remove certain songs every now and then so they're not playable in your playlist?
